Parent Involvement

Fairmount's Parent Liaison, Elizabeth Torres, welcomes and nurtures parent involvement. All parents are encouraged to contribute at Fairmount to foster a community spirit that benefits the students

Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The PTA sponsors a wide range of community and fundraising events, including FiestaVal, our annual celebration of the arts and Fairmount's biggest fundraiser. FiestaVal includes student performances, special guests, games, art stations, a silent auction and live auction of classroom art.

School Site Council (SSC)

The SSC demonstrates true shared decision making--across the teaching staff, school administrators and community members. The SSC creates and monitors Fairmount's academic plan.

English Learners Advisory Committee

ELAC advises the SSC on the needs of English language learners. It also sponsors programs such as safe transit and the provision of snacks during standardized testing.
